CARB FUEL is Maltodextrin, a polysaccharide carbohydrate, that although technically a complex carbohydrate because of its low sugar content, it has a higher glycaemic index (G.I 135) than sucrose (G.I 65), even though it is derived from starch and therefore because it has a high glycaemic load, it actually works.
